My story began at a young age as a member of a boy's choir, which led to a role in the San Francisco Opera's “Carmen”. This experience ignited my passion for acting, and I eagerly took on various roles in high school musicals. My first introduction to filmmaking came when I attended California State Summer School for the Arts at CalArts, for acting. During that pivotal summer I had the chance to collaborate with film students, sparking a growing curiosity about what happens behind the camera.
My extensive background in performance and my understanding of pacing, emotion, and narrative flow has allowed me to approach editing with a unique perspective, contributing meaningfully to a variety of projects, from acclaimed series like Little Fires Everywhere to the dynamic world of New Amsterdam. My experience on both sides of the camera has deepened my appreciation for the art of storytelling, and I take pride in crafting edits that resonate with audiences and bring the director's vision to life.
